David Wolff

Your Instructor: David Wolff has dedicated his career to learning and teaching art. After earning a Bachelor of Art Education from the Ohio State University, David had a long career as an art teacher at the high school level and recently retired from teaching at Edison High School. David was elected to serve as a Northeast Ohio Art Education Association officer and currently serves as President of the Firelands Area Art League.

David has received recognition as the Northeast Ohio Art Education Association Outstanding Art Teacher in 2012 and received numerous Best of Show and other awards in the Firelands Area Art League Shows. He received third place in the "State of the Art" Show at Ohio University and completed a summer residency at the Cleveland Institute of Art.

David’s teaching philosophy: I love sharing my art and techniques with others. I have a comprehensive approach to teaching, sharing both my knowledge and engaging with students in a very hands-on way to help them learn. I am flexible and eager to help every student with their specific needs at whatever level they are at artistically.
