Kellie Gedert

Kellie is a native Ohio artist and educator who gets her inspiration from nature which provides amazing botanical varieties with their own beauty and inspirational shapes and textures. Combining nature, process and chance, the results are beautiful. Many of Kellie’s ideas come from regular nature hikes that provide so much clarity for her well-being. Kellie enjoys creating in a variety of mediums and has a special interest in cyanotypes where she teaches how to create stunning prints with natural objects using sunlight.

Kellie has taught art in several elementary schools and STEM programs in the greater Columbus area.  She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts and Art Education at The Ohio State University and a Bachelor’s degree in interior design at the Columbus College of Art and Design.  Kellie also earned a Master of Art education at The Art of Education University.
